Propozycje programowe na drugą połowę 2025 roku zdominowane są przez wydarzenia związane z obchodami Millennium Królestwa Polskiego. Nasz program i konsekwencja w jego realizacji przyniesie pozytywne owoce, które nawet już teraz są dostrzegalne.
W sierpniu w dniach 23-24.08.2025 odbędą się uroczystości milenijne w Rumunii, obejmą one Mszę św. w Katedrze Greko-Katolickiej w Blaj oraz w Katedrze Rzymsko-Katolickiej w Alba Iulia, a także zwiedzanie wiejskiej letniej rezydencji królewskiej w Săvârșin. Kolega Claudiu przygotował bardzo szczegółowy program pobytu w Rumunii:

W dniach 28-31.08.2025 w Kirchschlag koło Linzu odbędzie się sesja naukowa zatytułowana „Wohin geht Europa?“ organizowana przez „Starożyny Zakon Św. Jerzego”, zwanym również „Zakonem Czterech Rzymskich Cesarzy”, którego Kanclerzem jest hrabia Peter zu Stolberg-Stolberg. Referaty wygłoszą m.in.: ks. prof. dr Peter Schallenberg z Wydziału Teologicznego w Padeborn – „Das Christliche Naturrecht und der Gottesbezug als Grundlage Europas”; starszy pułkownik dr Wolfgang Baumann, były Sekretarz Generalny w Ministerstwie Obrony Austrii – „Geopolitische Bedeutung Europas, Heartland Theorie, Halford Mackinder”; ks. dr Justinus Pech OCist z Zakonu Cystersów, wykładowca teologii i ekonomii – „Die Wurzeln Europas entgegen dem juristischen Grundprinzip „Ultra posse, nemo obligatur”; prof. dr Tilmann Repgen kieruje Katedrą Historii Prawa Niemieckiego w Hamburgu – „Menschenrechte und Ziele der EU – Die Schule von Salamanca”. Konferencję poprowadzi Gubernator Zakonu książę Gundakar von und zu Liechtenstein.
W dniu 5.09.2025 r. odbędzie się konferencja naukowa „Węgry i Polska – podobieństwa i różnice we wczesnym średniowieczu”, organizowana z okazji „Roku Królów” – 1000-lecie koronacji Bolesława Chrobrego i jego syna Mieszka II – obejmująca pierwsze węgierskie i polskie koronacje oraz życie, działalność i czasy królów św. Stefana i Bolesława Chrobrego. Organizatorem konferencji jest Polonia Węgierska i Narodowe Muzeum Zamkowe w Esztergom. Referaty wygłoszą m.in.: prof. Attila Zsoldos, prof. Dániel Bagi, dr László Tapolczay, Jan Lech Skowera. Z okazji konferencji na Zamku będą wystawione polskie insygnia koronacyjne „Korona Chrobrego” oraz zostanie otwarta wystawa „Polska – Węgry, pierwsi królowie”, która będzie prezentowana również w innych ośrodkach muzealnych Węgier.
W dniach 20-21.09.2025 r. pielgrzymujemy do Rymu do Bazyliki św. Piotra na Watykanie. Pielgrzymka ta jest jednym z głównych punków obchodów milenijnych organizowanych przez nasze środowisko. Celem naszym jest podziękowanie Stolicy Apostolskiej za dar Korony dla księcia Bolesława, które zostanie odczytane w Bazylice przy grobie polskiego papieża Świętego Jana Pawła II. W intencji Millennium Królestwa Polskiego będziemy się modlić w niedzielę w polskim Kościele św. Stanisława Biskupa i Męczennika. Planujemy również wspólny udział w modlitwie na Anioł Pański, wspólnie z papieżem Leonem XIV, na Placu Świętego Piotra. Pragniemy odwiedzić Kościół Stygmatów św. Franciszka, gdzie został pochowany ostatni z królewskiego rodu polskich Wazów królewicz Władysław Konstanty. Jeśli będzie to możliwe, to postaramy się zwiedzić wystawę „Polska królowa na Kapitolu. Maria Kazimiera i rodzina królewskich Sobieskich w Rzymie”, zorganizowanej w Muzeum na Kapitolu w Palazzo Caffarelli. Odwiedzimy również miejsca gdzie królowa Marysieńka mieszkała w Rzymie, po wyjeździe z Polski, tzn. Pałac Zuccari i Villa Torres (Villa Malta).
W Sanktuarium Matki Bożej z Trsat w dniu 19.10.2025 r. o godz. 18.30 odbędzie się uroczysta Msza św. w intencji 1100-lecia powstania Królestwa Chorwacji i 1000-lecia Królestwa Polskiego. Wzgórze Trsat jest dzielnicą Rijeki, na którym znajduje się również zamek z XIII wieku wzniesiony na ruinach rzymskiego fortu przez chorwacki arystokratyczny ród Frankopanów. Sanktuarium w Trast jest najstarszym miejscem pielgrzymkowym zwanym również „Nazaretem w Chorwacji”, ponieważ po upadku Akki (Akkon) w 1291 r. krzyżowcy przenieśli Święty Domek Maryi z Ziemi Świętej na wzgórze Trsat, a dopiero stamtąd w 1294 do Loretto. Bezpośrednio po Mszy Świętej odbędzie się koncert ku czci zmarłego członka Braci Chorwackiego Smoka i znanego chorwackiego kompozytora Ljubo Kuntarića, Smoka św. Rocha z Volosko, z okazji setnej rocznicy jego urodzin. Koncert nosi tytuł: „O Daj mi siłę, Boże mój – Harmonia wiary w utworach sakralnych Ljubo Kuntarića”.
Zakończenie obchodów Millennium Królestwa Polskiego będzie miało miejsce we Wrocławiu w dniach 22-23.11.2025 r., podczas Mszy św. Koronacyjnej w Katedrze Wrocławskiej w święto Chrystusa Króla. W przeddzień, 22 listopada, zostaną złożone wieńce i kwiaty pod pomnikiem Bolesława Chrobrego, a następnie odbędzie się podsumowanie obchodów milenijnych z wręczeniem nagród uczestnikom konkursów oraz dyplomów i medali osobom wyróżnionym przez Fundację. Szczegółowe informacje wraz z programem zostaną przesłane w kolejnym unikacie i zaproszeniach na uroczystości.

The program proposals for the second half of 2025 are dominated by events related to the Millennium of the Kingdom of Poland. Our program and the consistency in its implementation will yield positive results, which are already noticeable.
In August, on August 23-24, 2025, the millennium celebrations will take place in Romania. They will include Holy Mass at the Greek Catholic Cathedral in Blaj and the Roman Catholic Cathedral in Alba Iulia, as well as a visit to the royal summer residence in Săvârșin. Claudiu has prepared a very detailed program for the stay in Romania:
– August 22, 2025 – Arrival at the Jesuit Monastery in Manresa – Cluj, dinner
– August 23, 2025 (Saturday) – 9:00 AM, breakfast;
– 10:00 AM, visit to the Greek Catholic Cathedral dedicated to the martyrs of the 20th
Century; climbing the roof of the cathedral under construction (it will be the largest Catholic
church in Romania)
– 11:00 AM – trip to the Brukenthal Palace in Avrig (summer residence of the
Governor of Transylvania, Baron Samuel von Brukenthal)
– 1:00 PM – Lunch at the Brukenthal Palace, in the palace garden or in the orangery (weather

From August 28-31, 2025, an academic session entitled „Wohin geht Europa?” will be held in Kirchschlag near Linz. It is organized by the „Ancient Order of St. George”, also known as the „Order of the Four Roman Emperors”, whose Chancellor is Count Peter zu Stolberg-Stolberg. Papers will be delivered by, among others: Rev. Dr. Justinus Pech, OCist from the Cistercian Order, lecturer in theology and economics – „The Wurzeln Europas entgegen dem juristischen Grundprinzip „Ultra posse, nemo obligatur”; Prof. Dr. Tilmann Repgen heads the Chair of German Legal History in Hamburg – „Menschenrechte und Ziele der EU – Die Schule von Salamanca”. The conference will be led by the Governor of the Order, Prince Gundakar von und zu Liechtenstein.
On September 5, 2025, a scientific conference, „Hungary and Poland – Similarities and Differences in the Early Middle Ages,” will be held on the occasion of the „Year of the Kings” – the 1000th anniversary of the coronation of Bolesław the Brave and his son Mieszko II – covering the first Hungarian and Polish coronations and the lives, activities, and times of kings St. Stephen and Bolesław the Brave. The conference is organized by the Hungarian Polish Community and the National Castle Museum in Esztergom. Papers will be presented by, among others, Prof. Attila Zsoldos, Prof. Dániel Bagi, Dr. László Tapolczay, and Jan Lech Skowera. To mark the conference, the Polish coronation jewels, „The Crown of Bolesław the Brave,” will be exhibited at the Castle, and the exhibition „Poland – Hungary, the First Kings,” will open, which will also be presented in other museums in Hungary.
On September 20-21, 2025, we will be on a pilgrimage to Rome, to St. Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican. This pilgrimage is one of the main points of the millennium celebrations organized by our community. Our goal is to express our gratitude to the Holy See for the gift of the Crown to Prince Bolesław, which will be read in the Basilica at the tomb of the Polish Pope, St. John Paul II. We will pray for the Millennium of the Kingdom of Poland on Sunday at the Polish Church of St. Stanislaus, Bishop and Martyr. We also plan to participate in the Angelus prayer with Pope Leo XIV in St. Peter’s Square. We also wish to visit the Church of the Stigmata of St. Francis, where the last member of the Polish royal dynasty, Prince Władysław Konstanty, is buried. If possible, we will try to visit the exhibition „The Polish Queen on Capitoline Hill: Marie Casimire and the Royal Sobieski Family in Rome,” organized at the Capitoline Museum in Palazzo Caffarelli. We will also visit the places where Queen Marysieńka lived in Rome after leaving Poland, namely the Zuccari Palace and Villa Torres (Villa Malta).
A solemn Mass will be held at the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Trsat on October 19, 2025, at 6:30 PM, commemorating the 1100th anniversary of the founding of the Kingdom of Croatia and the 1000th anniversary of the Kingdom of Poland. Trsat Hill is a district of Rijeka, where there is also a 13th-century castle built on the ruins of a Roman fort by the Croatian aristocratic Frankopan family. The Sanctuary in Trast is the oldest pilgrimage site, also known as the „Nazareth of Croatia,” because after the fall of Acre (Akkon) in 1291, the Crusaders moved the Holy House of Mary from the Holy Land to Trsat Hill, and only from there to Loretto in 1294. Immediately following the Mass, a concert will be held in honor of the deceased member of the Brothers of the Croatian Dragon and renowned Croatian composer Ljubo Kuntarić, the Dragon of St. Roch of Volosko, on the occasion of the centenary of his birth. The concert is titled: „Oh Give Me Strength, My God – The Harmony of Faith in the Sacred Works of Ljubo Kuntarić.”
The Millennium of the Kingdom of Poland celebrations will conclude in Wrocław on November 22-23, 2025, during a Coronation Mass at Wrocław Cathedral on the Feast of Christ the King. On the eve of the event, November 22, wreaths and flowers will be laid at the Bolesław the Brave monument, followed by a summary of the millennium celebrations, with awards presented to competition participants and diplomas and medals to those recognized by the Foundation. Detailed information, including the program, will be sent in the next newsletter and invitations to the ceremonies.
